By Kyle's Our Man, a grade two winner and son of the influential sire, In Reality. WEATHERINGTHESTORM is a half sister to Canadian Champion, grade one winner and $2 million earner Cloudy's Knight. Her tail female family traces to the blue hen mares Grass Shack, third dam of Canadian and US Champion Deputy Minister, and Parade Girl, third dam of Exclusive Native, who is the sire of Triple Crown winner Affirmed.
Weatheringthestorm has been confirmed in foal to SCAT DADDY. A son of world champion Johannesburg, SCAT DADDY is a multiple grade one winner, victorious in the Champagne Stakes at the age of two and the Florida Derby at the age of three. An injury while running in the Kentucky Derby, a race in which he was the third betting favorite, ended his career.
Scat Daddy's first foals are two years old this year. He has already sired twenty one winners, with three individual graded stakes winners. His auction numbers have been strong, with his yearlings averaging over $52,000. I am a firm believer that Scat Daddy will be a successful sire and that is stud fee of $10,000 is a tremendous value.
